District Disaster Management Authority, Gondia
The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) is the key authority at the district level for effective planning, coordination, and implementation of disaster management. Its functioning is guided by the principles laid down by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA). The District Collector serves as the ex-officio Chairperson of the Authority, while the Resident Deputy Collector is the ex-officio member and also acts as the Chief Executive Officer.
